About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Independent management and cooperation in building construction projects across all project phases according to AHO Issue 9
Assume clearly defined project responsibility in interdisciplinary teams, including developing and managing these teams
Ensure cost, deadline and quality targets, including compliance with VOB and safety standards
Coordinate builders, planners, authorities, companies and executing contractors
Closely support construction work on site, including management of construction management
Participate in construction meetings, acceptances and defect management
Independently conduct tenders, awards and bid evaluations, and support approvals
Coordinate clients, planners, contractors and technology partners to deliver complex projects safely, on time, within budget and to high quality standards

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in civil engineering, architecture, industrial engineering or similar
Several years of experience (approx. 5-7+ years) in project management / project control / construction management in building construction
Sound knowledge of HOAI, AHO, VOB
Extensive experience in construction or construction management
Confident handling of common PM tools and MS Office (e.g. cost and schedule controlling)
Willingness to travel regularly within Germany depending on the project
Assertiveness, communication skills and entrepreneurial thinking
Very good knowledge of German and English
