About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Set up and maintain Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI/CPS) programs at customer facilities
- Scan and stock inventory at customer locations
- Fill bins and maintain proper inventory levels with minimal excess
- Investigate and resolve customer problems regarding C-Parts Solutions
- Build and maintain professional customer relationships
- Transport products to customers
- Place replenishment orders
- Deliver products accurately and put inventory away according to customer and company requirements
- Address onsite customer issues and communicate concerns to internal departments
- Identify additional Würth products and forward leads to appropriate departments
- Maintain clean and organized work areas, CPS racks, bins, and signage
- Identify and communicate process improvement opportunities, including bin quantities, new parts, and inventory turns
- Follow company fleet policies and procedures
- Improve productivity and operational efficiency
- Perform duties safely, follow safety procedures, report hazards, and maintain an orderly department
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma/GED, and/or equivalent experience is required
- Experience with VMI programs, Customer Service, Driving, or similar position is a plus
- Valid driver’s license
- Current DOT Medical Certificate or ability to obtain one
- Meet driver selection requirements outlined in the Fleet Policy
- Clean driving record
- At least 21 years of age to drive a company vehicle
- Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to learn computer systems
- Ability to establish and maintain positive customer relationships
- Ability to respond promptly to customer needs, solicit feedback, and manage difficult customer situations
- Team player who readily adapts to change
- Highly functional self-starter able to work with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to read, interpret, and comprehend training instructions, shipping tickets, procedure manuals, and similar documents
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and efficiently
- Must pass forklift training and maintain forklift certification
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.; frequent lifting of 40–60 lbs.
- Ability to walk and stand on a concrete surface 8–10 hours per day
- Ability to work in customer facilities and varying driving conditions
- Ability to understand and apply written, oral, or diagrammed instructions
- Ability to solve problems involving several variables in standardized situations
