About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Execute operating system upgrades and in-place upgrades
Perform greenfield virtual machine deployments
Execute VM migrations and ringfencing activities
Support VMware ESX/ESXi and vCenter migrations and upgrades
Prepare migration plans, runbooks and cutover procedures
Perform technical validation, troubleshooting and post-migration support
Build, optimize, and automate enterprise-scale virtualization platforms
Support large technology organizations in the telecom and cloud infrastructure domain
Work on projects involving VMware vSphere 8, VMware Cloud Foundation, OpenShift transformation, and large-scale virtual machine environments
Deliver tailored enterprise solutions for clients including Heineken, ING, ASML, Philips, and Shell

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience working with VMware/ESX infrastructure
Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale VM and OS migrations
Hands-on experience with ESXi, vCenter, vMotion and Storage vMotion
Experience with both in-place upgrades and greenfield deployments
Strong troubleshooting and infrastructure migration skills
