About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support execution of the accounting process for the revenue accounting system
Support revenue recognition execution for partnership transactions not processed by the revenue system
Partner with technical accounting, business, and finance teams on business developments affecting revenue system setups and processes
Ensure alignment with US GAAP and global accounting policies
Partner with business units across the company to understand activities associated with games in development
Address accounting and finance-related issues and interact with Business Unit finance teams
Support the full accounting close process for the revenue accounting system
Prepare and maintain system configurations
Perform related reconciliations and ensure SOX compliance
Monitor business performance and developments to ensure proper accounting system setups
Execute revenue recognition for new partnership transactions and non-routine revenue entries
Review agreements and prepare revenue accounting workbooks and journal entries
Prepare supporting schedules for revenue forecasts with Corporate FP&A
Support internal and external audits
Test revenue system upgrades and enhancements

Requirements

What you’ll need

B.A./B.S. in Accounting
5+ years of professional accounting experience, with experience in revenue recognition
Previous working experience managing system data flows and processing high volume transaction data
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Strong knowledge of revenue recognition under US GAAP
Experience managing and analyzing large data sets
Strong analytical skills and critical thinking
Ability to analyze financial results and relationships between accounts and data
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders
Strong communication skills
Ability to work within tight deadlines
Self-motivated and eager to learn
Ability to problem solve and collaborate
Experience with Oracle eBusiness Suite or similar ERP is an extra point
Experience with reporting tools such as Looker, OBIEE Answers, and Hyperion is an extra point
Experience with Zuora Revenue Recognition software is an extra point
Experience with revenue recognition in the gaming industry is an extra point
CPA preferred but not required
