Key responsibilities & impact

Review completed background interview documentation for inconsistencies, errors, omissions, falsifications, and minimum requirements
Conduct background investigations by interviewing employers, co-workers, neighbors, law enforcement officials, military personnel, family members, and personal references
Prepare detailed and complete interview statements
Prepare documentation for results-of-investigation packages
Organize investigative material according to established procedures
Prepare detailed summaries of adverse information based on objective analysis and evaluation
Conduct interviews remotely and/or in person
Travel up to 50% of the time

Requirements

What you’ll need

Active Top-Secret clearance
Completion of NTS Background Investigator course
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
Ability to conduct interviews virtually at home
Located near Northern Virginia, Atlanta, Seattle, Salt Lake City
Spanish speaking is a plus
