About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead transformative modernization and sustainment efforts for mission-critical enterprise systems in the defense and national security sector
Lead projects involving teams of data processing and information management professionals
Manage day-to-day overall contract support operations across multiple projects, personnel groups, and locations
Organize, direct, and coordinate planning and production of contract support activities
Establish and adjust corporate management structures to direct effective contract support activities
Serve as Project Manager for a large, complex task order or portfolio of related task orders
Coordinate with the Government Contracting Officer, Task Order Managers, Government leadership, and customer stakeholders
Oversee assigned task orders and ensure technical, operational, cost, schedule, and performance objectives are achieved
Lead cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions on schedule, within budget, and according to contractual requirements
Identify program risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve issues affecting project execution
Ensure effective communication, stakeholder engagement, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle
Leverage Agile program management, DevSecOps, AI/ML, and cloud security expertise to deliver secure and resilient platforms

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree
Must hold a Project or Program Management certification, such as PMP or another equivalent/recognized certification
Project or Program Management certifications from accredited institutions are required
Substitutes for certification such as training, degrees, or relevant experience may be considered if equivalence is clearly stated
Minimum of seven (7) years of experience managing large, complex IT or consulting programs
Ten (10) years of experience preferred
Experience leading enterprise programs consisting of 50 or more personnel
Experience managing programs with annual contract values exceeding $10 million
Experience leading application modernization initiatives, including migration from legacy or custom-developed applications to low-code/no-code platforms such as Appian
Experience overseeing the complete project lifecycle, including requirements analysis, solution design, implementation, integration, testing, deployment, user adoption, and operational transition
Experience managing multidisciplinary technical teams while collaborating with executive leadership, Government customers, subcontractors, and external stakeholders
Active Secret clearance
SAFe Agile Certification or industry-recognized equivalent certification preferred
