About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Elicit, analyze, and document business and system requirements
- Translate business needs into high-level and technical User Stories
- Support backlog management, refinement, and prioritization with Product Owners and development teams
- Work with multiple teams, minimum two, to ensure alignment and consistency
- Participate in system migrations and platform transformations
- Analyze and support data models and relational database structures
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to design scalable solutions
- Support requirements validation and UAT activities
- Maintain high-quality documentation in Jira and Confluence
- Contribute to solution design for web-based and distributed systems
- Collaborate in distributed, multi-system environments using fixed-price and Scrum-based Agile delivery models
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experienced Senior Business Analyst
- Strong analytical skills and technical understanding of data structures
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Understanding of data modeling concepts
- Experience with distributed systems / platform-based architectures
- Experience in web-based systems development projects
- Very good knowledge of Jira and Confluence tools
- Proven experience in migration projects and complex IT initiatives involving multiple teams
- Experience working in fixed-price project environments
- Ability to work across complex system landscapes and integrations
- Strong experience writing high-level business stories and detailed technical stories with acceptance criteria
- Experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation
- Understanding of Agile methodologies
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- High level of independence and ownership
- Strong teamwork mindset
- Risk management ability and awareness
- Practical experience using AI-powered assistants such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor
- Must work from the European Union region and have a work permit
- Nice to have: structured GenAI application within the SDLC, familiarity with AI-driven practices, leasing or railway domain knowledge, and SAP experience
