About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and maintain high-quality frontend applications and features
  • Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code with comprehensive unit and E2E test coverage
  • Build semantic, adaptive, cross-browser, and cross-platform layouts following web standards and accessibility best practices
  • Design and implement reusable component systems and contribute to the shared UI library
  • Optimize application performance, including rendering, bundle size, and Core Web Vitals
  • Collaborate with designers using Figma to deliver pixel-perfect, consistent implementations
  • Integrate with backend services and external APIs, and agree on API contracts with backend engineers
  • Configure and improve build tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and Docker environments
  • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions
  • Mentor Middle and Junior engineers and contribute to improving product quality
  • Work within a product engineering team of frontend, backend, QA, and DevOps engineers alongside Product and Design
  • Own features end to end, from implementation and testing to release and monitoring

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of commercial frontend development experience
  • Advanced proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), including asynchronous programming, prototype-based OOP, classes, and memory management fundamentals
  • Deep TypeScript knowledge, including generics, utility types, custom type declarations, and extending library types
  • Advanced experience with semantic, adaptive, cross-browser, and cross-platform layouts
  • Understanding of web standards and accessibility
  • Strong CSS skills, including SASS/SCSS and CSS-in-JS solutions
  • Experience with modern frameworks such as React, Vue, or similar
  • Experience with state managers
  • Experience with SSR/isomorphic applications
  • Experience building component systems, including the compound components approach
  • Understanding of data structures, algorithm complexity, and common design patterns
  • Knowledge of basic caching techniques, such as LRU
  • Ability to decompose tasks and separate business logic from framework/library code
  • Experience configuring and optimizing Vite or Webpack
  • Experience with ESLint, StyleLint, Prettier, or Biome
  • Experience writing unit and E2E tests
  • Understanding of REST API fundamentals and experience integrating with external services
  • Experience with Docker
  • Proficiency with Git and GitLab
  • Confident use of Figma for design implementation
  • Good written and spoken English
