About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Write, test, and maintain modular Terraform infrastructure for AWS and Azure provisioning and scaling
Design, build, and optimize automated build, test, and release pipelines
Support frequent, zero-downtime deployments
Deploy, configure, and maintain containerized microservices on Docker and Kubernetes EKS/AKS clusters
Build and maintain observability dashboards, log aggregation, and alerting rules
Proactively detect and troubleshoot production bottlenecks
Work with development squads to troubleshoot deployment issues and streamline developer environments
Enforce DevSecOps best practices
Implement automated vulnerability scanning
Manage credentials securely with secrets-management solutions
Participate in operational troubleshooting and root-cause post-mortems
Participate in rotational on-call coverage for high-availability SaaS platforms

Requirements

What you’ll need

2–4+ years in a DevOps, Platform, Cloud, or Systems Engineering role supporting production cloud workloads
Hands-on experience provisioning and managing resources in AWS or Microsoft Azure
Working proficiency with Terraform or equivalent declarative IaC tools
Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Experience building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, or Jenkins
Ability to write automation scripts in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
Strong knowledge of Linux system administration
Strong knowledge of DNS, TCP/IP, load balancers, reverse proxies, and API gateways
Professional working proficiency in English, verbal and written
Comfort working with distributed international teams
Availability to work from the Marousi, Athens office 3 days per week
GitOps experience with ArgoCD or Flux preferred
Familiarity with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Redis preferred
Experience with Snyk, SonarQube, or Trivy preferred
Background in multi-tenant B2B SaaS platforms preferred
Relevant AWS, Kubernetes, or Azure certifications preferred
