About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Take ownership of planning and scheduling across multiple complex construction projects, from pre-construction through to handover
Develop, review and challenge detailed construction programmes, ensuring clear milestones, dependencies and realistic delivery schedules
Support integration of project programmes, including MEP installation and commissioning sequences, with BIM and 4D planning tools
Conduct critical path, schedule risk and delay analysis
Identify potential challenges and develop mitigation and recovery strategies
Provide clear, actionable progress reporting and programme analysis to clients and senior stakeholders
Collaborate with client and contractor planning teams, providing expert guidance, constructive challenge and technical leadership
Support planning standards, share best practice and mentor colleagues
Act as a trusted planning expert in client discussions, contributing to project delivery strategy and supporting new business opportunities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Construction-related degree or relevant M&E trade background with progression into project planning
Demonstrable experience in construction planning or scheduling, including at least 3 years in a senior or lead planning role
Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6
Willingness to travel regularly across Europe and the Middle East
Proven planning experience within data centre, mission-critical or similarly complex construction environments
Strong understanding of MEP installation, commissioning and integrated systems testing
Experience developing and managing complex construction programmes across multiple stakeholders
Strong knowledge of critical path analysis, programme risk management and delay mitigation
Experience delivering projects across Europe and/or the Middle East
Ideally, knowledge of NEC or FIDIC contracts
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence and challenge at senior level
A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to balance technical detail and broader project priorities
Experience with Asta Powerproject, 4D planning tools such as Synchro or Navisworks, or Power BI would be advantageous
