About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the development and implementation of BIM/VDC standards, workflows, and processes across projects
  • Manage the integration, preparation, and export of BIM models into the XYZ Project Controls platform
  • Develop and implement automation solutions, including Revit scripts and other tools
  • Establish and maintain model quality control processes
  • Analyse BIM model data and element metadata to support project controls, progress tracking, and quality management
  • Work directly with clients, contractors, designers, and project stakeholders to establish effective BIM/VDC workflows
  • Provide technical guidance as the BIM/VDC subject matter expert
  • Manage multiple projects, coordinating priorities, deliverables, and deadlines
  • Lead the BIM/VDC team, including task allocation, performance management, and technical development
  • Identify process-improvement and workflow-automation opportunities
  • Contribute to XYZ's BIM/VDC strategy and technology roadmap

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven experience in a BIM/VDC management role on complex construction or infrastructure projects
  • Strong technical proficiency in BIM authoring and management tools — Revit essential
  • Experience with scripting or automation (Dynamo, Python, or similar) strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing BIM standards, workflows, and quality control processes
  • Experience working directly with clients, contractors, and designers in a client-facing project delivery environment
  • Strong understanding of model-based workflows, BIM data structures, and element metadata
  • Experience integrating BIM processes with project controls functions such as scheduling, cost management, or progress tracking
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Leadership and mentoring capability
  • Experience with AR, XR, or emerging construction technology platforms desirable but not essential
  • Familiarity with Mission Critical, Data Centre, or large-scale commercial construction projects desirable
