About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead investigations into damage and performance issues across buildings, structures, and building envelopes
- Manage projects from start to finish
- Coordinate with clients
- Conduct site visits and collect field data
- Analyze data, environmental factors, and material properties to determine cause and extent of distress
- Review relevant building codes and regulations
- Write comprehensive technical reports with findings and recommendations
- Assist in developing repair designs and coordinating across disciplines
- Manage project resources and deadlines
- Contribute to a collaborative and supportive work environment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- PE license required
- 5+ years of forensic engineering experience required
- Excellent communication, writing, and analytical skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Established client network and strong track record of building rapport and maintaining lasting client relationships
