About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as a lead member of the direct care team
  • Provide day-to-day functions similar to Direct Support Professionals
  • Provide administrative support including training, scheduling, and systems management
  • In some cases, directly supervise other DSPs
  • Work in a person’s home, family’s home, YAI residence, day habilitation center, or community depending on support needs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Some college preferred
  • Prior DSP experience strongly preferred, but not mandatory
  • Ability to lead by example and act as a role model within teams
  • Interpersonal problem-solving skills
  • Ability to accept and apply feedback
  • Flexibility in availability
