About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the Compensation & Benefits agenda for the Americas
- Translate global frameworks and business priorities into competitive, equitable and regionally or locally relevant solutions
- Lead regional policies, annual cycles, job evaluation and reward programs
- Establish governance, decision rights and controls using market, pay equity and cost data
- Advise the VP People & Culture Americas and senior leaders on compensation and benefits matters
- Navigate stakeholders, competing priorities and ambiguity to build alignment and deliver outcomes
- Partner across People & Culture, Finance, Legal, Tax and Payroll
- Represent Americas priorities in global forums and transformation initiatives
- Manage base salary structures and compensation frameworks and review market trends
- Lead and develop the Compensation & Benefits team
- Ensure effective day-to-day support for Brazil
- Build regional capability and manage external advisers and vendors as required
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related fields
- Solid professional background across compensation, incentives, benefits, job evaluation and reward governance
- Deep technical expertise gained in a matrixed international organization
- Experience leading a regional or multi-country agenda and translating global frameworks into practical, locally relevant solutions
- Ability to operate in a complex, matrixed and evolving environment
- Track record of delivering across multiple stakeholders, functions and geographies through influence rather than formal authority
- Sound judgement and resilience when working with ambiguity, competing priorities and incomplete information
- Senior business partnership experience on compensation and benefits matters, including advising, challenging and influencing executives
- Proven people leadership experience, including developing specialists and setting clear priorities
- Strong business, financial and analytical acumen
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Portuguese and/or Spanish are strong advantages
