About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure technical execution of client contracts with regard to schedules, deadlines, costs, quality, scope, claim-management support, and technical risk management
- Manage engineers from different disciplines within projects to deliver required outputs
- Support development and implementation of standardized and harmonized engineering practices
- Prepare and check equipment and service technical specifications and technical offer comparisons
- Prepare and check project documentation and drawings
- Conduct technical contract reviews and risk analyses
- Prepare project-specific terms and conditions
- Evaluate and escalate technical and commercial risks to the Project Manager
- Resolve contract-based customer complaints and concerns
- Serve as the first technical contact for clients and suppliers during projects
- Provide technical support during sales, project execution, commissioning, troubleshooting, and technical clarifications
- Control and manage interfaces of purchasing packages and support procurement activities
- Communicate and coordinate with other disciplines and project team members
Requirements
What you’ll need- University degree in engineering or similar education, such as higher technical school with working experience
- 5–10 years of experience in engineering for investment projects
- Proven experience in design engineering or execution of technical projects
- Strong knowledge of engineering standards, technical specifications, and quality assurance
- Expertise in troubleshooting and technical clarifications
- Good cross-functional communication, collaboration, and client interaction skills
- Fluent English, written and spoken
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Willingness to travel internationally and support project activities across multiple locations
- Autodesk Inventor experience is advantageous
