About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Follow up day-to-day production units, focusing on optimizing operational parameters for safe and reliable operations
- Lead hands-on Root Cause Problem Solving to identify improvements
- Initiate optimization projects
- Prepare modification projects and follow up commissioning before start-up
- Actively participate in Yara’s technical Communities of Practice and share learnings with colleagues worldwide
- Contribute to digital transformation and lean implementation in operation teams
- Participate in the on-duty system for Nitric Acid and Utilities units
- Ensure activities are executed in conformance with Yara’s Values & Management system
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master degree in Chemical Engineering
- Just graduated or first experience in Process Engineering for chemical plants
- Willingness to work in an international environment and to travel for some extended periods
- Excellent safety mindset
- Fluent in Dutch and English
- An external assessment is part of the application procedure
