About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, test, maintain, and enhance WordPress websites, focusing on front-end functionality, responsiveness, and user experience
- Translate design and business requirements into responsive, accessible web pages and features
- Investigate and resolve functional issues, browser compatibility problems, and performance bottlenecks
- Improve website performance, quality, and maintainability
- Participate in code reviews and suggest practical improvements
- Update and test WordPress, themes, and plugins to support site stability, compatibility, and security
- Collaborate with designers, QA, Marketing, and other stakeholders to deliver reliable website improvements
- Build WordPress expertise and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of professional experience in development, with a strong focus on front-end technologies
- Solid knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Experience building responsive, user-friendly websites
- Basic knowledge of PHP development
- Familiarity with WordPress or willingness to learn its ecosystem, including themes, plugins, and page builders
- Experience debugging web applications and identifying performance issues
- Understanding of HTTP requests, APIs, and browser-server interactions
- Ability to independently handle moderately complex development tasks and seek guidance when needed
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Based in or near Cluj-Napoca due to the office requirement
