About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, test, and deploy integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
- Create and maintain REST and SOAP-based integrations between Oracle Cloud applications and third-party systems
- Develop and configure scheduled, file-based, and event-driven integrations
- Perform data transformation, mapping, validation, and error handling
- Monitor integration instances and troubleshoot production issues
- Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to gather integration requirements
- Prepare technical design documents and support deployment activities
- Ensure adherence to development standards, security best practices, and governance guidelines
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and production support activities
- Contribute to continuous improvements in integration architecture and processes
- Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies and proactively support resolution
- Communicate and present complex ideas, information, and data to stakeholders
- Balance stakeholder business interests and manage conflicts
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2 to 4 years of relevant Oracle Integration Cloud development experience
- Strong understanding of OIC integration patterns and architecture
- Hands-on experience developing App-Driven, Scheduled, File-Based, and Event-Based integrations
- Experience with REST and SOAP web services
- Knowledge of Oracle ERP Cloud, HCM Cloud, SCM Cloud, or EBS integrations
- Experience in data mapping, transformation, routing, and orchestration
- Understanding of integration security concepts, certificates, and authentication mechanisms
- SQL and database fundamentals
- Experience with FTP/SFTP, XML, JSON, XSD, and WSDL
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams
- Experience working in Agile project environments
- Preferred: Experience with Oracle Visual Builder (VBCS), Oracle Process Automation (OPA), Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), integration monitoring and error handling frameworks, DevOps and CI/CD, Java, Groovy scripting, or Oracle SOA Suite
- Preferred certifications: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Foundations Associate; Oracle Integration Cloud Certified Professional
- Good to have: Oracle Autonomous Database, migration from Oracle SOA Suite to OIC, Oracle ATP/ADB databases, Agile/Scrum methodology, JIRA or ServiceNow, middleware and enterprise integration patterns
