About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and implement custom SAP S/4HANA solutions, including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows (RICEFW)
Develop S/4HANA capabilities for integration with internal and external systems using OData services, REST APIs, IDocs, and web services
Optimize SAP applications for performance and efficiency using SAP S/4HANA capabilities
Create and optimize advanced data models and views using CDS views and AMDPs
Identify and resolve issues in SAP Fiori and UI5 applications
Enhance standard Fiori apps by optimizing OData services and improving application performance
Perform ATC checks and ABAP code remediation for HANA compatibility
Develop and troubleshoot applications using RAP
Debug and troubleshoot complex technical issues, perform performance tuning, and provide ongoing support and maintenance
Create comprehensive technical documentation and ensure development follows coding standards and best practices
Perform peer and code review activities
Work with business analysts, functional consultants, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver assigned tasks on time

Requirements

What you’ll need

5–10 years in SAP S/4HANA technical development, with recent projects focusing on SAP S/4HANA
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
Experience in end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, rollout, or support projects
Extensive experience with Object-Oriented ABAP, S/4HANA architecture, CDS views, AMDPs, and OData services
Expertise in creating and customizing S/4HANA objects, including interfacing with third-party systems or applications
In-depth knowledge of OData services and SAP Gateway for integrating Fiori apps with backend systems
Experience creating, configuring, and managing OData services
Familiarity with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) for extending and integrating Fiori apps, if applicable
Understanding of MDG frameworks including WebDynpro/FPM and integration with S/4HANA
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to S/4HANA and integrations
Proficiency in creating detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, configuration guides, and user manuals
Excellent communication skills for interacting with senior stakeholders, leading teams, and presenting solutions
