About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and optimize SAP Fiori applications using SAPUI5
Integrate front-end applications with backend systems using OData services
Create and manage advanced UI components and custom Fiori elements
Configure and optimize SAP Fiori Launchpad and SAP Build Work Zone, including tiles, roles, and groups
Implement and customize SAP S/4HANA solutions using CDS Views, OData services, and AMDPs
Identify and resolve issues in SAP Fiori and UI5 applications
Enhance standard Fiori applications by optimizing OData services and application performance
Use ABAP Development Tools for modern Fiori development, version control, and integration with SAP Fiori processes
Perform code testing and quality assurance
Resolve complex Fiori application development and deployment issues
Continuously develop the UX/Fiori strategy
Coordinate with functional, backend, IT-security, and BASIS departments
Create technical documentation and implement process improvements
Mentor and support knowledge sharing

Requirements

What you’ll need

5–10 years of experience in designing, developing, and enhancing SAP Fiori applications using SAPUI5 and related SAP BTP technologies
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
Experience in end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, rollout, or support projects
Knowledge of SAP HANA functional streams including I2C, O2S, I2M, S2P, S2C, R2R, and C2O
Extensive experience with SAP Fiori design principles, architecture, and SAPUI5 development
Expertise creating and customizing transactional, analytical, and factsheet Fiori applications
In-depth knowledge of OData services and SAP Gateway
Experience creating, configuring, and managing OData services
Advanced SAP Fiori Launchpad configuration skills, including tiles, roles, and groups
Familiarity with SAP Business Technology Platform for extending and integrating Fiori applications
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Fiori applications and integrations
Proficiency creating technical documentation, design specifications, configuration guides, and user manuals
Excellent communication skills for interacting with business users, backend developers, and IT stakeholders
Required technical knowledge of SAPUI5, SAP BTP, SAP S/4HANA, OData, SAP Gateway, Fiori Launchpad, CDS Views, AMDPs, ABAP Development Tools, and version control
