About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and support complex .NET application projects
Resolve system incidents for a key application used across Eastern European countries
Implement Epics, Futures, and User Stories based on business requirements
Develop and configure Business Intelligence and Analytics tools such as Power BI
Coordinate with system vendors to adjust requirements for business needs
Create and execute unit test plans
Support system and integration testing
Analyze and resolve code defects
Administer the system, including SQL Server/database management
Collaborate with designers, architects, testers, IT teams, and business customers
Handle defined-scope projects and small-scale team/unit projects
Improve existing programs, procedures, and work processes
Maintain up-to-date technical documentation
Independently interact with business users and manage requirement discussions
Manage deliverables, stakeholder communications, business testing/UAT, and end-to-end ownership
Mentor developers and resolve technical queries
Work with the EAME region from 11 AM to 8 PM
Report to an IT Manager as part of an IT team located across several EAME locations

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years of experience as an IT Developer
8+ years of experience supporting a main application or leasing system
4-year accredited university/college degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
Advanced .NET programming skills for implementing new features
Experience administering SQL Server (MSSQL and database management)
Software development/configuration knowledge
Understanding of software technologies and application hosting environments
Knowledge of Business Intelligence and Analytics tools
Advanced experience with ITIL processes and SLAs
Advanced English language skills
Strong hands-on .NET development capabilities
Power BI/analytics exposure
Stakeholder management experience with business stakeholders/end users, preferably across global teams and EMEA geographies
Excellent verbal communication and conversational skills
Ability to navigate different accents and engage with stakeholders across regions such as Romania and Kazakhstan
Ability to independently gather requirements, clarify requirements, understand user stories, and drive discussions
Ability to manage deliverables, keep stakeholders informed, support business testing/UAT, and take end-to-end ownership
Ability to guide and mentor other developers and resolve technical queries
Experience in leasing or financial institutions is advantageous
Openness to business travel
Ability to work under time pressure
