About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage projects by defining scope, budget, timelines, and quality, with responsibility and authority for project completion
- Lead cross-functional, global, and virtual project teams and directly supervise staff
- Serve as project driver and executor for initiatives with program leadership, technology, support, and platform customers
- Help ensure the Automation CoE team meets deliverables and makes timely decisions
- Build and maintain feature-level product roadmaps and pipelines with Program Management teams
- Mitigate impediments affecting release and sprint goals
- Communicate with internal stakeholders regarding tactical and strategic solutions and project status
- Represent Automation CoE interests in cross-company project teams
- Build relationships with business partners and advocate for the Automation CoE
- Review billing requirements, financials, and reports for subcontractors and partners
- Recommend cash management, revenue enhancement, and cost recovery improvements
- Draft epics and user stories to seed the product backlog
- Participate in RFP/RFI processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- 15 years of experience, with minimum 7–8 years of project management experience
- B.E., B.Tech, MBA, or required equivalent
- PMP Certification mandatory
- Experience with automation platforms and RPA tools such as Automation Anywhere, UiPath, Blue Prism, Python, scripting-based tools, source control, and defect tracking tools
- Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to translate complex customer needs into user stories with measurable acceptance criteria
- Ability to lead, facilitate, and drive individual and group meetings
- Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and relationship skills
- Ability to lead and empower team members without formal management authority
- Ability to blend business analysis with technical skills to develop efficient processes
- Technical background sufficient to create functional requirements and detailed specifications
- Ability to work independently and assimilate information quickly
- Awareness of Agile/Scrum and Waterfall software development processes
- Ability to prepare standard and ad-hoc presentation decks, from functional overviews to detailed technical overviews
- Ability to articulate advanced technical topics verbally and in writing
