About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Plan and set direction for multiple concurrent projects or large enterprise projects
- Ensure quality and timely delivery of systems and service commitments using internal and external resources
- Manage and lead all project phases from beginning to end
- Assist clients with cost-effective innovation opportunities and adherence to corporate policies
- Manage internal and external project resources
- Oversee business systems, technologies, and vendors
- Potentially supervise direct reports
- Apply technical and business knowledge to handle complex problems and provide direction
- Lead technical solution, implementation, support, and quality activities
- Prioritize work and schedules
- Review project deliverables for quality and compliance with standards and regulatory requirements
- Interact with customers to understand business needs and anticipate IT solutions
- Manage relationships with business project sponsors
- Manage capital and expense project budgets and assist with IT project planning
- Supervise and mentor project team members and provide performance feedback
- Research, analyze, select, and implement new tools, technologies, and services
- Help set direction and standards for the portfolio or group
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7–10 years of experience required
- 7–10 years of systems experience including 3+ years of project leadership
- 3–4 years of relevant Scrum Master experience
- Mandatory knowledge of Scrum and SAFe Agile
- Preferred domain experience in Healthcare
- Expertise in project management/processes and/or SDLC
- Strong business acumen
- Solid presentation, oral and written communication, and teamwork skills
- Strong influencing skills
- Proven track record delivering large-scale projects
- Leadership and budget experience
- Project Management Certification preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred, or relevant work experience
- Demonstrated history of successful project delivery
- Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily based on prior work experience
