About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop back-end software using Java and cloud technologies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 6+ years in web services development
  • Solid understanding of web technologies in Java
  • Strong expertise building and deploying applications on GCP, AWS, or Azure
  • Strong expertise with Kubernetes
  • Working knowledge of microservices and RESTful web services using a framework such as Spring Boot
  • Strong expertise writing JUnits and configuring them through Maven
  • Good understanding of relational databases and experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server
  • Good understanding of Maven and Git
  • Good understanding of Jenkins and CI/CD architecture
  • Good understanding of programming algorithms and data structures
  • Experience with BDD and Cucumber
  • Good understanding of message queues such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Pub/Sub
  • Knowledge of Angular
  • Experience with integration tests using a BDD framework such as Cucumber
  • Good understanding of streaming technologies and processing engines such as Dataflow, Flink, or Spark
  • Knowledge of VSTS
