About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Review software requirements and prepare test scenarios
  • Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases based on software requirements
  • Identify, document, and report bugs, errors, and inconsistencies in software programs
  • Collaborate with software developers to diagnose and rectify issues discovered during testing
  • Improve and automate test procedures to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness
  • Participate in product design reviews and provide feedback on potential issues, risks, and usability
  • Conduct post-release and post-implementation testing to validate requirements and specifications
  • Evaluate new testing tools and methodologies
  • Prepare reports on testing findings to inform stakeholders and support decision-making

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3–5 years of experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing
  • Proven experience in both manual and automated testing
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Playwright or Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus
  • Experience with other automation tools such as JIRA, TestNG, and Jenkins
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Java and Python
  • Experience with bug tracking tools and regression testing
  • Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes
  • Familiarity with API testing and other testing methodologies
