About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and backend applications
  • Develop and enhance test automation frameworks using industry-standard tools and best practices
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and DevOps teams throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Create and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test cases
  • Perform API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar frameworks
  • Identify, document, track, and verify software defects
  • Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines
  • Analyze test results, generate reports, and provide quality metrics to stakeholders
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and continuously improve testing processes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Software Testing and QA Automation
  • Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright, and TestNG/JUnit
  • Proficiency in Java and JavaScript/TypeScript; Python preferred
  • Experience with API automation testing using Rest Assured, Postman, or similar tools
  • Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and design patterns
  • Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI
  • Good understanding of Git
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) preferred
  • Knowledge of JMeter preferred
  • Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes preferred
  • Experience with Cucumber preferred
  • Knowledge of security testing concepts and best practices preferred
  • Experience in enterprise-scale applications nice to have
  • Exposure to AI-assisted testing tools and automation accelerators nice to have
  • Relevant certifications such as ISTQB or Certified Selenium Professional nice to have
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and commitment to software quality
