About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, implement, and support enterprise BI dashboards and reports
Load and transform data from SAP BW into Fabric Lakehouse
Develop reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards
Aggregate data from various sources
Balance functionality, look and feel, and performance to ensure an excellent user experience
Write complex SQL queries and functions
Gather and document reporting requirements with other teams
Use underlying data sources and data warehouses to meet business requirements
Liaise with the SAP Data Warehouse team to design the data model
Conduct training programs and knowledge-transfer sessions for junior developers as needed
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 3 years of experience required
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Application, BCA, MCA, BETech, or BE
In-depth knowledge of Power BI, M and DAX functions
Very strong SQL skills
Basic/advanced knowledge of ADF (Azure Data Factory)
Good knowledge of Fabric
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts
Experience as a Power BI Developer
Experience developing reports, dashboards, KPI scorecards, and aggregating data from multiple sources
Experience designing dashboards for phones and tablets
Background in data warehouse design, including dimensional modeling
Knowledge of SQL databases and SQL statements
Experience using ADF Linked Services, Datasets, and Pipelines
Experience extracting, transforming, and loading data from Azure SQL, Blob Storage, and Azure SQL Data Warehouse
