About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, and execute test strategies and test plans for Reltio MDM implementations
- Perform unit, functional, integration, regression, performance, and load testing
- Validate Reltio data models, entity configurations, relationships, attributes, and reference data
- Test match & merge rules, survivorship logic, and deduplication processes
- Validate batch and real-time integration pipelines between Reltio and ERP, CRM, data lakes, APIs, and other systems
- Perform data quality testing, profiling, validation, and reconciliation
- Test Reltio workflows, business rules, stewardship processes, and exception handling
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python, SQL, Selenium, or similar tools
- Perform API testing of Reltio REST APIs
- Log, track, and manage defects through the full lifecycle using JIRA or similar tools
- Collaborate with business analysts, data stewards, and developers to define acceptance criteria
- Validate pre-migration, mid-migration, and post-migration activities
- Participate in UAT and support business stakeholders during testing cycles
- Maintain test cases, test scripts, test data, and test summary reports
- Contribute to QA best practices within MDM projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of experience in software or data quality engineering
- At least 1–2 years of exposure to MDM platforms; Reltio preferred, or Informatica MDM, Semarchy, SAP MDG, Stibo STEP, or similar
- Hands-on understanding of Reltio MDM concepts, including entities, relationships, match & merge, survivorship, hierarchies, and workflows
- Strong SQL skills for data validation, reconciliation, and querying across relational/cloud databases
- Experience testing REST APIs using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools
- Experience with test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr
- Familiarity with ETL/integration testing
- Experience with data quality testing concepts: completeness, accuracy, consistency, timeliness, and uniqueness
- Strong analytical skills to define test scenarios from complex business and data requirements
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and sprint-based delivery teams
- Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium or PyTest and scripting in Python or Groovy
- Exposure to performance/load testing tools such as JMeter or Gatling
- Experience testing Snowflake, AWS, Azure, or GCP data platforms integrated with Reltio
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, including Jenkins or GitHub Actions
- Experience with data migration testing in large-scale MDM implementation projects
- Knowledge of GDPR, HIPAA, and related data privacy/compliance frameworks
- Experience in manufacturing, life sciences, healthcare, retail, or financial services is preferred
- Reltio platform certification or formal training is a plus
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong data analytical mindset
- Ability to understand complex data relationships and identify edge cases in match/merge scenarios
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple test deliverables
