About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, maintain, and optimize ETL processes and data pipelines
Develop and support complex SQL and PL/SQL programs for data integration, transformation, and reporting
Use Python and SAS for data processing, automation, analysis, and operational support
Provide production support for critical business processes and resolve issues promptly
Support month-end and period-end business operations while ensuring data accuracy and system availability
Conduct knowledge-transfer sessions and document and transition processes from existing teams
Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions
Monitor data quality, troubleshoot data-related issues, and implement preventive measures
Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
Lead and mentor junior team members as required

Requirements

What you’ll need

7–10 years of experience
Strong expertise in ETL development
Strong expertise in SQL and PL/SQL
Strong expertise in Python
Strong expertise in SAS
Excellent communication skills
Ability to absorb and transfer knowledge effectively
Ability to work in a fast-paced production support environment
Experience supporting month-end and period-end business operations
Ability to conduct knowledge-transfer sessions
Ability to understand, document, and transition processes
Ability to monitor data quality and troubleshoot data-related issues
Ability to perform root cause analysis
