About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and implement Snowflake-based data warehouse and Lakehouse solutions
- Lead architecture and design for enterprise-wide data modernization programs and AWS cloud data platforms
- Define target-state architectures, migration strategies, and modernization roadmaps for legacy data warehouses and ETL ecosystems
- Define Snowflake data modeling, clustering, partitioning, workload optimization, and cost management strategies
- Design scalable data ingestion, transformation, and consumption patterns for structured and unstructured data
- Provide technical leadership, solution reviews, and architecture governance
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, data engineers, analysts, and enterprise architects
- Enable CI/CD, DevOps, and automation practices for data engineering and analytics workflows
- Leverage AI-assisted tools and modern automation technologies to accelerate architecture design and optimize cloud and data platform performance
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10–14 years of experience
- 10+ years of design and implementation experience with Snowflake-based data warehouse and Lakehouse solutions
- Experience leading architecture and design of enterprise-wide data modernization programs and cloud data platforms on AWS
- Experience defining target-state architectures, migration strategies, and modernization roadmaps for legacy data warehouses and ETL ecosystems
- Knowledge of Snowflake data modeling, clustering, partitioning, workload optimization, and cost management
- Experience designing scalable data ingestion, transformation, and consumption patterns for structured and unstructured data
- Experience providing technical leadership, solution reviews, and architecture governance
- Strong knowledge of ETL tools such as Informatica, Datastage, or Talend
- Strong knowledge of SQL/PL-SQL
- Knowledge of Python/PySpark is preferable
- Manufacturing domain experience is good to have
- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and automation practices for data engineering and analytics workflows
- Experience leveraging AI-assisted tools and modern automation technologies
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- AWS Solutions Architect – Professional certification
- AWS certification or any technical certification
