About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze technical and functional specifications
- Participate in design meetings with project teams and clients
- Prepare detailed design documents
- Define SCADA and industrial network architectures
- Develop applications using AVEVA System Platform (InTouch OMI / InTouch HMI)
- Create application models (Templates, Instances, Symbols) and ArchestrA scripts
- Configure alarms, events, and historical data with AVEVA Historian
- Configure communications with Siemens and Schneider PLCs
- Perform unit and integration testing
- Participate in FAT and SAT activities
- Validate application performance and cybersecurity in accordance with IEC 62443
- Manage patches and enhancements
- Support start-up and production deployment
- Train users and maintenance teams
- Provide technical support and perform ongoing maintenance and enhancements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s degree (engineering degree or equivalent) in automation, industrial computing, or electronics
- At least 3 years of experience developing supervisory control systems, ideally with AVEVA System Platform / InTouch
- Proficiency in AVEVA System Platform, InTouch HMI, OMI, Historian, and Communication Drivers
- Knowledge of Siemens TIA Portal (S7-1200, S7-1500)
- Knowledge of Schneider EcoStruxure Control Expert / Unity Pro
- Proficiency in Modbus TCP/IP, OPC UA / OPC DA, Ethernet/IP, and Profinet
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, SQL queries, historical data, and reporting
- Knowledge of client/server architectures, VMware/Hyper-V virtualization, industrial networks, and IEC 62443 cybersecurity
- Knowledge of VBScript, PowerShell, XML, and .NET (C# is a plus)
