About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Inventory and analyze the Data assets within the Network domain, including sources, producing systems, tables, data flows, and consumers
Analyze how data is organized in the Data Lake and data warehouses, and assess the Bronze / Silver / Gold layers
Examine data volumes, historical depth, refresh frequencies, and freshness levels
Identify redundancies, inconsistencies, obsolete or missing data
Identify business entities, attributes, relationships, keys, cardinalities, and constraints, and formalize business rules
Build source-to-target mappings and perform impact analyses
Build and maintain data dictionaries, and document traceability and dependencies (Data Lineage)
Identify business use cases and consumers, including BI, applications, business teams, and Data Science / AI
Identify gaps between business needs and the existing Data assets
Produce Data asset maps, conceptual, logical, and physical data models, entity-relationship diagrams, source-to-target mappings, data dictionaries, data flow and Data Lineage documentation, use-case maps, gap analyses, and recommendations to support decision-making
Collaborate with business, Data, BI, Data Science, and technical teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling, as well as Data asset documentation
Strong knowledge of Data Lake architectures and the Bronze / Silver / Gold approach
Proficiency in SQL and data modeling and cataloging tools
Ability to communicate with business, BI, Data Science, and technical stakeholders
Attention to detail, strong synthesis skills, and an interest in documentation
