About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own data strategy and execution for a portfolio of client deliverables within new sectors
  • Drive product success through accuracy, client value, and efficiency
  • Partner with product and revenue leaders to set and achieve ambitious targets
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert for emerging sector data
  • Partner with GTM teams on client conversations, explain methodologies, address questions, and align data solutions with client needs
  • Investigate and resolve data quality issues and implement scalable fixes
  • Design, standardize, and maintain scalable workflows as coverage expands
  • Own and evolve sector categorization frameworks, including core taxonomies and custom client categorizations
  • Operate as a player-coach, setting quality, speed, and innovation standards while mentoring and empowering the team
  • Partner cross-functionally with Data, Insights, Revenue, and Engineering to drive ARR growth and optimize processes and pipelines
  • Report to the Head of Data

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 8+ years of experience in data analytics, data operations, or consulting
  • 2+ years in a lead or management capacity
  • 4+ years of experience working with SQL, Python, Pyspark, or other programming languages to explore and transform large, complex datasets
  • Familiarity with Github and Databricks
  • Strong experience working with large, messy, evolving datasets, especially in environments with changing definitions or taxonomies
  • Experience building and maintaining production-grade data workflows
  • Strong ownership mindset
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work and project manage effectively with stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams
  • Must not currently or in the future require visa sponsorship
  • Work authorization in the United States
