About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Monitor and research global chemicals regulations
  • Provide consultancy services to clients
  • Prepare and submit dossiers to the EU SCIP database
  • Maintain chemical databases, including for Yordas Helix software
  • Script regulatory summaries and impact assessments
  • Support delivery of client projects
  • Compile and manage regulatory data
  • Deliver technical services and consultancy
  • Liaise with internal divisions to fulfill client needs effectively
  • Manage projects and liaise with clients
  • Present to prospective clients and at industry events
  • Build client relationships and script proposals and quotations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) discipline would be preferred or any degree which provides skills of research, analytical thinking, strong written communication and creative problem solving.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Logical and analytical with the ability to solve problems quickly
  • Ability to turn round work efficiently and to a high standard with excellent attention to detail
  • Good at working well on your own and as part of a growing dynamic team
  • Ability to successfully manage a fluctuating workload and work well under pressure
  • Experience with interpretation of chemicals legislation
  • Experience with client-driven work in a commercial setting
  • Experience with databases or with managing large datasets
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build rapport with clients
