About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Carry a caseload of 8 to 12 families
  • Work with youth and families who have been or are at risk of being involved in the juvenile justice system
  • Hold weekly family sessions with each family, scheduled at the family’s convenience
  • Provide treatment in families’ homes across various settings and communities
  • Provide on-call crisis support to youth and families
  • Attend three weekly meetings (individual, team, and clinical consultation) for professional development
  • Attend quarterly booster training sessions to enhance clinical skills
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation in an electronic medical record system (EMR)
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in a social services discipline (required)
  • Degrees that can be considered include: social work, drug and alcohol education or counseling, psychology, criminal justice, guidance counseling, or marriage and family therapy (others subject to review)
  • Applicants must possess a current, valid driver’s license
  • Applicants must possess an automobile for work purposes
  • Applicants must provide proof of auto insurance
  • Experience working with youth or families in need of crisis intervention (preferred)
  • Clinical experience (preferred)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written, verbal, and oral skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Ability to maintain a flexible schedule
