About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Plan testing strategies and scenarios based on requirements, architecture, and business rules
Proactively identify risks, defects, and potential impacts on solutions
Create, execute, and maintain manual and automated tests, including functional, regression, exploratory, integration, API, performance, and end-to-end testing
Develop and maintain automation scripts
Use Artificial Intelligence tools, such as Cursor, to support the creation, maintenance, and optimization of automated tests
Explore AI capabilities for test automation and autonomous test execution
Analyze results, identify and document defects, and perform validation and regression testing after fixes
Partner with Development and other teams, contributing to quality from the solution design stage
Propose continuous improvements to quality processes, tools, and practices
Stay up to date with new technologies, methodologies, and AI solutions applied to Software Quality

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Systems Analysis and Development, or a related field
At least 3 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance (QA)
Strong experience with manual testing, including regression, exploratory, usability, integration, and performance testing
Experience with automated testing using Cypress (JavaScript), Robot Framework (Python), or Selenium (Python)
Knowledge of Postman for API testing
Knowledge of BDD (Gherkin) for creating test scenarios
Familiarity with Cursor and other Artificial Intelligence tools applied to software development and test automation
Interest in and ability to use AI to reduce manual activities and increase the autonomy of quality processes
Holistic, systems-oriented, and preventive mindset
Ability to contribute to strategic quality planning and execute routine testing
Intermediate knowledge of Agile methodologies
Proactive, analytical, and collaborative profile, with a focus on continuous improvement, innovation, and efficiency
