About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support electrical design and engineering activities for power and industrial projects.
  • Assist with electrical calculations, equipment sizing, and power distribution design.
  • Develop and maintain engineering documents, drawings, and specifications.
  • Support equipment selection, material takeoffs, and cost estimates.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Review vendor drawings and technical submittals.
  • Participate in design reviews and client meetings.
  • Provide engineering support during construction and commissioning activities.
  • Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
  • 0-2 years of electrical engineering experience (internships and co-ops considered).
  • Basic knowledge of NEC and electrical engineering fundamentals.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Willingness to travel and support field activities as required.
  • Preferred: Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or progress toward obtaining EIT.
  • Preferred: Internship or co-op experience in power, utility, industrial, or EPC environments.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with ETAP or similar electrical engineering software.
