About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive relationships and operating rhythm with key equipment suppliers such as GEV, Vogt, Mitsubishi, Nooter, and others
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive OFE management plan, including equipment tracking registers, open issues, interface matrices, risk registers, and documentation schedules
- Coordinate technical interfaces between Owner-furnished equipment and Zachry-procured scope
- Work with Engineering disciplines to resolve foundation, piping, electrical, and control system requirements
- Support quality assurance activities, including FAT/SAT witnessing, punch list resolution, and turnover documentation
- Identify, document, and mitigate OFE-related risks
- Support timely issue resolution and preparation of variation/claim documentation when necessary
- Prepare and deliver regular OFE status reports and presentations for internal leadership and Owner meetings
- Drive lessons learned across key equipment suppliers, projects, and customer portfolios
- Support project closeout and integration of OFE documentation to the Owner/Operator
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or equivalent proven experience in engineering and/or project execution roles
- 6+ years of progressive experience in EPC and/or major OEM roles specifically on engineering and/or project execution
- Strong hands-on experience with major power equipment (GEV, Siemens, Mitsubishi turbines, Voegt, etc.) is highly preferred
- Deep knowledge of power generation equipment, EPC contract structures, and interface management
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Strong ability to manage multi-discipline teams indirectly
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrix organization
- Strong attention to detail and risk management mindset
- Proactive, technically strong professional who excels at stakeholder coordination and schedule protection
