About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Managing a defined portfolio of customers in Germany
  • Maintaining master and transactional data from onboarding through termination of employment
  • Ensuring and processing payroll accurately, on time, and to the required quality standards
  • Advising German-speaking customers on tax and social insurance matters
  • Communicating with social insurance providers, offices, and public authorities
  • Preparing the necessary information for audits
  • Advising and supporting customers during audits
  • Identifying, independently assessing, and resolving complex payroll issues
  • Making decisions that support customers’ payroll success

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Several years of qualifications and experience in German payroll
  • In-depth knowledge of tax and social insurance law
  • Experience with collective bargaining law, occupational pension schemes, expatriates and inpatriates, and garnishments is desirable
  • Service-oriented, structured, and reliable approach to work
  • Exceptional customer focus and strong communication skills
  • Absolute integrity and discretion
  • Experience with SAP HCM and other payroll systems
  • Fluent German and English
