  • Identify and implement cloud cost savings through resource rightsizing, autoscaling, committed use discounts, storage lifecycle policies, and removal of unused resources while maintaining service reliability and performance.
  • Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform and Ansible, with a focus on repeatability, maintainability, and safe changes.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD and GitOps workflows using GitLab and Argo CD.
  • Operate Kubernetes clusters and support application deployments, troubleshooting, capacity planning, and upgrades.
  • Manage secrets and access policies using HashiCorp Vault.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot Kafka and RabbitMQ, ensuring reliable message delivery and processing.
  • Improve centralized logging using OpenSearch, Logstash, and Fluent Bit.
  • Build actionable monitoring, dashboards, and alerting using VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, and PagerDuty.
  • Define service-level indicators and objectives (SLIs/SLOs) with engineering teams and use error budgets to guide reliability improvements.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation, lead incident response, and drive follow-up actions through blameless postmortems.
  • Administer and troubleshoot Red Hat–based Linux systems, including performance, networking, and security.
  • Manage CDN and DNS configurations using Akamai and EdgeNext.
  • Develop and validate backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
