About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Take turns on interrupt duty for findings triage, access questions, incidents, and customer security assessments
Build and tune AI security reviewer and triage agents, determining which decisions require human ownership
Build an intake pipeline routing findings from the AI reviewer, bug bounty, penetration tests, and audits to owning teams, with severity-based SLA clocks
Lead Google Cloud hardening across IAM, organization policy, and workload configuration
Select and roll out code scanning and software supply chain controls in GitHub and CI/CD
Ensure engineers can act on scanner findings
Review code and designs involving authorization, identity, and tenancy
Drive fixes through Platform, Web, and Backend teams
Write runbooks and requirements enabling the security team to operate processes independently
Complete Google Cloud hardening, supply-chain security, and vulnerability triage objectives during the first year

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience building and shipping security automation in code, including production systems
Experience applying LLMs or agents to real security work
Ability to identify exploitable authorization, identity, or secrets flaws in application code
Experience rolling out security scanning in CI and turning results into fixes
Experience securing IAM and workloads in a major cloud; GCP ideal, AWS or Azure acceptable
Ability to get fixes shipped by teams the candidate does not manage
Ability to move between incident mode and build mode
Compliance with defined security, privacy, and compliance requirements applicable to the role and all Zello personnel
Eligible to work in the United States and disclose any need for current or future U.S. visa sponsorship
