About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support employees throughout the entire employee lifecycle, including onboarding and offboarding
- Measure, optimize, and automate People Operations processes
- Handle employee and manager requests quickly and accurately in the ticketing system
- Prepare employment contracts, contract amendments, and employment references
- Ensure clean and accurate data in the HRIS
- Prepare and review payroll
- Manage the company car fleet
- Advise managers on HR and employment law matters
- Make knowledge accessible through clear guides
- Work with HiBob, Freshservice, Leapsome, n8n, and Google Workspace
- Use technology and AI to save time and improve processes
- Maintain relationships with payroll providers, tax authorities, pension funds, insurers, and public authorities
- Support external audits
- Drive cross-functional projects with the P&C team from idea to measurable results
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in People Operations or as an HR Generalist
- Excellent knowledge of German employment law, tax law, and payroll processing
- Experience driving projects with stakeholders and delivering demonstrable improvements
- Understanding of how workflows and data interact; interest in technology and AI
- Exceptional attention to detail and a reliable approach to accurate data and confidential information
- Ability to remain calm and maintain an overview in fast-paced situations
- Fluency in German (C2) and English
