About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build Zenrows’ Developer Relations function from the ground up as the founding DevRel engineer
Work alongside the GTM team to combine technical advocacy and community skills
Build credibility and help developers discover, experiment with and integrate Zenrows
Drive product adoption and brand recognition among developers
Give talks and run technical workshops
Collaborate with relevant developer communities
Own the hackathon program, including sponsorships, speaking opportunities and event participation
Engage developers on Reddit, X, Discord and other online communities
Create videos, demo content, templates, sample apps, open-source projects, GitHub contributions, starter kits and developer integrations
Listen to community feedback and manage the feedback loop with product and engineering teams
Contribute to technical documentation
Help make Zenrows part of every agentic developer’s technology stack

Requirements

What you’ll need

Ability to write Python, JavaScript or similar
Comfortable with APIs/SDKs, AI agents, and building demos, apps and integrations
Demonstrable technical and community-building experience
Confidence on camera and on stage
Public body of work, such as videos, talks, demos, repositories or posts
Track record of running events, talks or community initiatives
Active in AI/agent developer ecosystems such as GitHub, Reddit, Discord, Hacker News or Stack Overflow
Experience building developer ecosystems, open-source initiatives or technical communities from scratch
Impact-oriented approach focused on API integrations, open-source adoption and community engagement converting into active customers
Skilled technical writer
Must be comfortable making major decisions and owning the function independently
Excitement about building, delegating to and taking ownership of AI agents in day-to-day work
Willingness to document and update workflows
Successful completion of background checks
Bonus: existing audience, real web-scraping experience, knowledge of proxies/browser automation/anti-bots, or hackathon organization experience
