About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist the Superintendent with daily job-site tasks
- Attend job-site meetings
- Receive hands-on training in general construction and carpentry
- Attend and participate in safety walks and talks
- Follow company safety policies while on the jobsite
- Assist with communication between subcontractors to coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and inspections
- Assist with submittals, including daily job reports covering job progress, subcontractors onsite, safety concerns, employee time, per diem, training, and purchases
- Submit weekly jobsite progress photos
- Submit receipts daily
- Assist with project close-out and timely completion of punch lists
- Participate in handoff meetings and post-project review meetings at headquarters
Requirements
What you’ll need- Willingness to learn
- Positive attitude
- Willingness to travel
- OSHA 30, or must obtain it within the first 90 days
- General understanding of all divisions of construction
- Nationwide travel is required; projects near where you reside are not guaranteed
- Ability to sit, stand, kneel, twist, reach, and walk for long periods of time
- Ability to manually dig, drag, pull, and push materials and objects on the jobsite
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to push and pull up to 100 lbs
