About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Run pre-install QA checks to identify design and site problems
  • Run post-install QC checks to determine whether jobs meet company standards
  • Own punch list items from start to completion
  • Manage the contractor experience throughout the quality process
  • Clarify standards and resolve issues quickly with contractors
  • Serve as the technical resource for contractors and the install coordination team
  • Provide solutions for unexpected on-site issues, including line set routing, wiring, and controls problems
  • Help contractors deliver high-quality work with fewer surprises and faster answers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3-5 years of hands-on residential HVAC installation and supervisor / management experience
  • Experience running quality checks on residential installs
  • Ability to give clear technical direction to contractors and coordinators, both on site and over the phone
  • Comfort reading equipment layouts and specs
  • Willingness to perform local site walks, simple inspection correction in the field, part runs and deliveries, and cover local service calls
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Bonus: EPA 608 certification, NATE certification, Master mechanical license
