About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Answer business questions from customers, the Research team, and senior analysts by turning loosely scoped requests into structured analysis, clear findings, and recommendations.
- Transform complex datasets into clear, insight-driven narratives for executive audiences.
- Scope data needs for new analyses, partner with data engineering on pipeline work, and own transformation, analysis, and visualization tasks within a defined scope.
- Maintain high standards for accuracy and clarity.
- Analyze structured and unstructured sources, including survey data, executive interview transcripts, operational datasets, and qualitative research notes.
- Use AI tools, including the internal LLM, to accelerate analysis while validating and refining outputs.
- Collaborate with research, design, and customer-facing teams to understand stakeholder needs and deliver reliable work.
- Identify opportunities for new insights and lines of inquiry as responsibilities grow.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2-4 years of experience in data analysis, insights, or a related field, with some demonstrated ability (or strong potential) to translate data into narratives for senior audiences.
- If the majority of your last two years has been spent building or maintaining dashboards, pipelines, or reporting infrastructure, this is not the right role.
- SQL required; Python a plus; willingness to work in environments like Databricks.
- Experience producing data visualizations and charts using Excel/PowerPoint or analytical tools.
- Working familiarity with AI-assisted analysis and workflow tools; daily use of AI tools in analytical work; ability to describe specific instances where AI changed your approach; evidence of building things with AI outside work is a strong positive.
- Structured thinking and growing comfort with ambiguity.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work within a research team and matrixed, geographically distributed organization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting data and findings to senior or executive audiences.
- Familiarity with operations or supply chain is a plus; curiosity and fast learning matter more.
