About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design attribute, variable, and combined gauges for incoming and in-process inspection
- Design machining and assembly fixtures for new product development and existing product capacity enhancement
- Design and develop automation solutions for part loading, unloading, and process automation

Requirements
What you’ll need- B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering with a Diploma/Post-Diploma/PG-Diploma in Tool Design, Machine Design, or Tool Engineering
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in fixture and gauge design, manufacturing, and automation
- Strong conceptual design skills
- Proficiency in interpreting component drawings
- Sound understanding of various manufacturing processes and material selection
- Familiarity with standard mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components used in fixtures and Special Purpose Machines (SPMs)
- Strong knowledge of jigs, fixtures, and gauge design principles
