About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide timely and accurate management and group reporting to regional and global teams
  • Perform monthly and annual analysis of books of accounts at the business-unit level
  • Prepare reporting according to Group Directives, the ZF IFRS Accounting Manual, and chart of accounts requirements
  • Manage planning and forecasting for all reporting units and ZF India as a whole
  • Submit and analyze monthly financial projections and operating results against budget
  • Review gross-level and product-level COGS analysis, including plan versus actual
  • Review raw-material commodity-price changes and approve purchase-order revisions
  • Conduct monthly sales analysis across actuals, plan, forecast, and prior year
  • Monitor and approve NPM indents against annual budgets and sales
  • Review and approve capital and major expense requests, including savings and ROI calculations
  • Coordinate disposition of idle assets
  • Track investment plans, capital expenditure analysis, and payback periods
  • Follow Group Directives and norms for investment controlling
  • Calculate product costing and pricing proposals
  • Provide standard cost and price-revision proposals to KAMs for customer price revisions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4–7 years of related experience in a professional role
  • Professional qualification (CA or CMS)
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize effectively
  • Ability to work independently with virtual teams
  • Skilled in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated business acumen
  • Project management experience
  • Problem-solving skills, including issue identification/structuring, data collection, analysis, synthesizing results, and developing actionable and measurable implementation plans
  • Ability to develop and implement repeatable processes, metrics, and management reports
  • Comfortable working with different levels of the organization and across cultures
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
