About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Plan, introduce, customize and support end-to-end development projects for OCR/ICR products and future RPA products
Implement full-lifecycle OCR/ICR solution development projects in cross-functional teams, from requirements gathering through solution delivery
Develop and fine-tune vision-language and machine learning models for document-based use cases, including PDF and image data extraction
Customize pre-trained models such as LayoutLM, LayoutLMv2/v3, Donut and Tesseract for business requirements
Implement OCR pipelines and enhance text recognition for structured and unstructured data
Develop using advanced Python, FastAPI and ML pipelines with PyTorch, TensorFlow and HuggingFace

Requirements

What you’ll need

Any Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with deep technical knowledge of AI/ML products, technologies, processes and procedure models
8–12 years of overall experience
Minimum 5+ years of experience in AI/ML products, primarily with OCR/ICR technologies
Profound knowledge of Python, ML frameworks/libraries, analytics tools and technologies including Microsoft Azure, MLflow, CI/CD, automations and OCR
Few years of experience as a Technical Architect
Experience in analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of enterprise-scale AI products
Experience with ML model design, training and production deployment
Experience with OCR model training and fine-tuning
Hands-on experience with OCR technologies such as PaddleOCR and Tesseract
