About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Examine and process freight invoices based on predefined freight tables for land, sea and air cargo transport, including special transports, express and parcel services
Edit, create and share credits with different forwarders
Examine, process and release cargo invoices for factual and arithmetical accuracy
Clarify and settle freight-invoice complaints directly with carriers or service providers
Coordinate verification with departments such as customer service, goods receipt and goods issue
Create statistical analyses and key figures based on accounting data
Capture and document forwarder problems in EDV for performance measurement
Implement measures to improve forwarder performance problems

Requirements

What you’ll need

Around 3-4 years experience in Freight Management
Very good knowledge of the processes & systems related to Freight
Good knowledge of SAP and MS Office, especially MS Excel and Power Point
Ability to gather data out of the systems and create tailor-made analysis, for example in Power BI
Attention to detail and willingness to deliver high-quality results
